Opening in 2026, The Convergence Center for Applied Quantum Computing (The Convergence Center), located in Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA, uniquely brings together the leaders in applied quantum computing with the top life sciences executives to collaborate in drug discovery and development.

Within The Convergence Center R&D Lab, researchers will be able to perform independent research, engage with partners for collaboration and learn about leading edge applications of quantum computing. Private industry will have unique access to both quantum researchers exploring areas of interest and potential partners that may pursue specific initiatives. Investors will have access to researchers that are developing promising applications.

The R&D Lab will enable the life sciences industry to prototype and test use cases through an exclusive platform that delivers access to a diversity of quantum systems. The exchange between industry use cases and quantum applications will be coordinated through a select group of Convergence Quantum Fellows, researchers with deep knowledge of applied quantum computing.
